Keche sings Monica

Hiplife duo, Keche who brought us songs such as Diabetes, Sokode, Pressure, Aluguntugui, Body Lotion and Gogo Gaga is back with a brand new song, Monica which features Edem.

Recorded by Mix Master Garzy, Monica, a party song, talks about a beautiful girl who does everything right.

The duo, made up of Joshua Kojo Ampah and Andrew Kofi Cudjoe, praise Monica and describe her as a lovely woman who does everything right, telling her she cannot be compared to any other lady because she stands tall.

Edem comes in the middle of the song with his unique way of rapping in Ewe. Although this writer did not understand a word of what Edem was saying, his rap was well delivered.

Unlike other songs that grow on people, Monica is a very danceable one and would certainly get people on their feet on hearing it even for the first time.

In an interview with Showbiz, Keche who are planning a video shoot of Monica by the end of the month said their fans demanded a party song after Diabetes, so they decided to come out with this latest one.

“Our fans are already in love with the song since we dropped it a few days ago. Infact, the feedback we are getting is great and we have no doubt it will go far” they said.

They revealed they are working on their second studio album which will feature musicians such as Sarkodie, Bisa Kdei and Shatta Wale.
