Danish musicians hit town

Three music groups and a vocal soloist from Denmark are in town to feature at events in Accra and Cape Coast.

The groups are Total Hip Replacement and Junglelyd as well as African Footprint International which is a mix of Ghanaian and Danish players. The vocal soloist is Luca Sophia.

They will perform tonight, March 18 from 8.00pm at a show dubbed ‘A Night of Soul and African Rhythms’ at the Piano Bar, near the Teshie-Nungua Greda Estates Roundabout in Accra.

There will be another show for them at 7.00pm on Sunday, March 20 at the +233 Jazz Bar & Grill, North Ridge in Accra. Australia-based Ghanaian star, Afro Moses will feature at both concerts.

All the acts are scheduled to perform at the maiden edition of the Green Music Festival from Thursday, March 24 to Saturday, March 26 at Cape Coast in the Central Region.

Organised by African Footprint Legends, the festival will also comprise a seminar / workshop at the Music Department, University of Cape Coast as well as workshops and performances in several schools and venues across Cape Coast.
