Coronavirus: Stonebwoy to stay away from family when he arrives from US

Ghanaian Afro-pop musician Stonebwoy says he will stay away from his family for about two weeks when he arrives in Ghana from the United State of America.

Speaking in an interview on an Accra based radio station Hits FM, Stonebwoy explained that the safety of his family is extremely important, therefore, he would be in self-quarantine so as not to endanger their lives.

“Before I will come home, I will be looking to self-quarantine…, I will be tempted, the kids go come around me, maybe I go dey some small place at the countryside for like two weeks you know.., it will be like a vacation for me, it is good to take precautions just to make sure everybody is safe,” he said.

Stonebwoy who went to the US for an event said since the programme has been postponed, he will be joining his family very soon.

“The corona, now it’s everywhere so where are you running to, home? abroad? So whatever, but I will be coming home really soon because we’ve postponed and called off the event,” he said.

He added that he and his team are at the moment fine and they are observing the precautions required not to contract the virus while in the US.
