Wo Mu from Rev. Akwaboah
He has performed alongside some of the popular gospel musicians in Ghana and after years of prayers and hard work, Rev. Enoch Owusu Akwaboah believes it is time to come out on his own and he has done so with his maiden album titled Wo Mu.
The seven track album recorded by Dan Bassey of Groove House is made up of three worship songs and four praise songs. The songs are Wo Mu, Keys Of David, Heaven Is My Home, Ama Me, As It Is In Heaven, Megyefo and Edin No.
The title track, Wo Mu, is a worship song about the need to trust in God and not man.
Rev. Akwaboah thanks God for the protection of his life and that of his family and says he will forever remain faithful to Him because He has never disappointed him.

On Ama Me, another worship song, Rev Akwaboah sings of how God rewards people according to their deeds on earth. He goes on to preach that despite God’s merciful nature, one is definitely sure to face the consequences of his/her actions when the laws and commandments of God are disregarded.
Speaking with Showbiz, Rev. Akwaboah who has been singing since he was a child disclosed that there are a lot of things to be done to improve the gospel music industry.
For him, the players in the industry have underrated their capabilities for long and need to ‘revive the old gospel music flames’.
“Our gospel musicians are doing great but I believe we can still do more to better our industry for the good of all,” said the man who has worked alongside gospel artistes such as Nacee, O.J, Joe Mettle, Eugene Zuta, Akesse Brempong, S P Sarpong among others.
Rev. Akwaboah is the founder of Voice of the Kingdom Church in Obuasi and is married to Hilda Akwaboah and has two children.
