UT Life Insurance rewards hardworking staff

UT Life Insurance has rewarded Philip Adjetey with a Gold Prize for being the Overall Best Performing Sales Executive for the Year 2014.

The award was given at the company’s 3rd Annual Sales Conference which was held at the Royal Senchi Hotel in Akosombo. 

Philip took home a plaque, a double-door Samsung fridge and an undisclosed amount of money. 

According to Sheriff Abudu, General Manager in charge of Business Development at UT Life Insurance, the Annual Sales Conference was initiated three years ago as part of efforts to reward and motivate hard working, committed and efficient staff members to spur them on for higher productivity.

In an address, the Managing Director of UT Life Insurance, Mr Tiibu Aziz Rayamah, intimated that UT Life Insurance had come this far because of the dedication and exceptional performance of its sales team.

“In line with our commitment to being reliable, we will ensure that our sales executives continuously develop themselves,” he said.

The theme for the conference was: "Life insurance sales — A career or a stop gap measure."

Messrs Ernest Ray Asare Addo and Benjamin Annan won the silver and bronze prizes for sales executive category, respectively. They received plaques, a Samsung fridge and a home theater, respectively, together with undisclosed amounts of money.   

Three sales managers,  Pascal Prince Afetor, Sadat Yayaha and Ebenezer Azumah, also won gold, silver and bronze prizes respectively for the year 2014.

Ms Jane Awuvey, Head, Alternative Business, and Madam Safoa Awuku-Asabre, Head, Human Resource & Administration, received the Managing Director’s special gold and silver awards for their exceptional performance.

While congratulating the award winners, the President of the UT Group, Captain Prince Kofi Amoabeng (retd), said: "For me, passion is everything, so let us all keep the passion because without it we are not going anywhere."
