Two names dominate GCB Big Money Promotion draws
The names, ‘Malik’ and ‘Wa’, identified with the Upper West Region, became household names last Wednesday when the draws for the fifth edition of the GCB Big Money Promotion were held.
Mr Malik George Ghanem won a 5kva generating set when his name was picked by another Malik.
When Mr Malik Daabu, the Online Editor of the Multimedia Group was asked to pick the lot for the ultimate winner, little did he know there was a coincidence in the offing.
Malik Daabu, an indigene of Wa working in Accra, picked another Malik of the Wa branch of the GCB as winner of the coveted prize of a 5kva generating set to the amusement of customers who had gathered to witness the draw.

Mr Daabu, who had visited the GCB Head Office and chanced upon the draw, was randomly picked to draw the winner of the 5KVA generating set.
The ceremony, which was hosted at the foyer of the GCB Bank’s head office, saw five new winners emerging.
