Silver Star, IVECO launches partnership
Auto dealer and distributor, Silver Star Auto Limited has unveiled a partnership with multinational auto giants, Industrial Vehicle Corporation (IVECO) to sell and distribute IVECO vehicles in the country.
The partnership is expected to bring cargo transport solutions into the Ghanaian market with the introduction of the IVECO Daily Van.
The truck is a three liter engine, 150 horsepower and air conditioner with a five ton gross vehicle weight.
It is also equipped with a radio blue tooth, a twin rear wheels and a C-chasis frame.
At the launch which took place this afternoon at the Silver Star Towers at Airport in Accra, Mr Jalal Kalmoni, Sales Manager of Commercial Vehicles at Silver Star Towers noted that IVECO is a worldwide brand with one of the best vehicle spare parts, diagnostic tools and fitting techniques in the industry.
"over the past 25 years we have been serving our clients and we hope to continue in that stride," he noted.
Mr Harold Wilson Acquaye, the Export Area Sales Manager of IVECO representing Southern Africa and Ghana revealed that IVECO vehicles speak for themselves and have been tried and tested.
"IVECO is an Italian, French and German conglomerate with it's headquarters in Torino and had been providing the best vehicles since 1975," he stated.
He revealed that the IVECO Daily is very affordable and a quality utility vehicle that is an all wheeled drive in all specification and types.
The Italian Ambassador to Ghana Her Excellency Daniela d'Orlandi said IVECO's presence in Ghana demonstrates the strong partnership Italy has with Ghana and stressed that this partnership will remain very strong.
She called for more collaboration between Italy and Ghana to foster development and unity in both countries.
