Fidelity launches “Save for Gold” promo

Fidelity Bank Ghana has launched a promotion to improve savings culture and reward both potential and existing customers of the bank.

The promo, which has been dubbed “The Save for Gold promo”, is scheduled to run for six months and will reward lucky customers with gold bars and coins worth over GH¢500,000.

The Managing Director of the bank, Mr Edward Effah, said at a press launch in Accra yesterday that the bank was committed to promoting the savings culture among Ghanaians as it believed it was critical for a comfortable lifestyle.

He also mentioned that the bank was proud of its achievements within the past nine years of establishment, as it had grown to become the sixth largest bank in terms of deposits with almost 80 branches nationwide and 110 Automated Teller Machines.

“We are grateful to our 700,000 customers for helping us attain this feat,” he said.

For his part, the Deputy Managing Director of Fidelity Bank, Mr Jim Baiden, said the bank, over the years, had employed creative means to reward customers who remained committed to their relationship with the bank.

Explaining how customers could participate in the promo, Mr Baiden said customers of Fidelity could enter the promo by maintaining a balance of GH300 or in multiples of the value in their account for a minimum of one month.

“Non-customers can also open accounts, deposit and maintain a minimum balance of GH¢₵300 or multiples of it in their account for the same period,” he said.

“Customers can qualify for the grand draw by maintaining the minimum balance for the six months promotion period, he added.

The ultimate winner for the grand draw will take home a one kilogram two-carat gold bar worth over GH¢₵150,000, with the second and third winners also walking away with 500 grams gold bar worth over GH¢ 80, 000 and 250 grams gold bar worth over GH¢₵40, 000 respectively.

Over 120 gold coins worth over GH¢₵200,000 will also be won during the five monthly draws.
