Carpoly Chemical Group introduces water-based wood paint

A Chinese paint company,  Carpoly Chemical Group Company Limited, has introduced a new line of paint products onto the Ghanaian market.

The company has unveiled what is known as its water-based wood paint that is specially composed to withstand harsh weather conditions.

At a workshop to showcase the product and also to demonstrate the quality of the paints, the Sales Executive Director of the Carpoly Chemical Group in charge of Africa, Ms Seesea Wen, explained that the products had been made to ensure that their finishings were scratch-proof.

A technical manager of the company, Mr Bruce Chang, took participants through practical application of the paints.

In attendance was Mr Henry Siaw, an accomplished finisher, who recently relocated from the United States of America.

 Mr Jonathan L. Odoi, Chief Executive Officer of J.L. Odoi and Sons, which partnered Carpoly to organise the workshop, said he was fascinated by the products.

He said his company had partnered Carpoly products for almost four years now.

J.L Odoi & Sons has distributed Carpoly products, including PU Sealer, PU Thinner, PU, Lacker NC Lacker, NC Thinner and NC Sealer.
