MTN Ashantifest gala: Dichemso aims victory against Ash Town FC
Host community, Dichemso FC, will aim to start the MTN Ashantifest gala match on a bright note when they clash with Ash Town FC in their Zone B match at the Dichemso Otumfuo Park on June 23.

The two teams have been paired alongside Aboabo FC and Krofrom FC to battle for two slots to the next stage of the competition.
Already, Ejisu FC and Amakom FC have booked their places at the next stage of the competition after they finished joint top with five points apiece, while Fante New Town FC and Asafo FC failed to progress.
The competition will witness an encounter between Bantama FC and Tafo FC in Zone C, Suame FC will battle Abrepo FC at the State Girls Kokoase Park, Abrepo.
Zone D has interesting fixtures such as Kwadaso FC locking horns with Adum FC, while Atonsu FC clash with Santansi FC.
The competition was launched in Kumasi by Charles Osei Akoto (Technical Head, Northern Business District) of MTN Ghana, who said the Ashantifest gala was part of initiatives brought into several communities to enrich lives in the Ashanti Region.
He expressed delight at the growth of the gala from eight communities to 16 and had extended beyond Kumasi to Ejisu, which was an indication that the competition was getting better.
“The community football gala was introduced in 2021 in eight communities in Kumasi. I am excited to inform you that it has now been extended to 16 communities and beyond Kumasi to Ejisu this year,” he said at the gathering which included football legends and coaches, Abdul Razak (Golden Boy) and Frimpong Manso.
