Court documents from Cameroon, Geremi's home country, per The Sun accuse his wife Laure of damaging their marriage's harmony through her behavior.

In these legal filings, Laure's actions are described as "abject" and include "repeated lies" that have contributed to the breakdown of their relationship.

The documents also specify that no children were born from their marriage, with Laure initially claiming the twins born in June 2008 were Geremi's, which prompted their marriage.

However, subsequent revelations about the children's true paternity led to significant emotional distress and disrupted their marital harmony.

Geremi, a renowned figure in Cameroon's football scene, had a successful career that included 109 appearances for Chelsea from 2003 to 2007, during which he scored four goals. Before his time at Chelsea, he played for Real Madrid from 1999 to 2003.
