Ghanaian Sports Analyst Jerome Otchere has expressed concerns about the role given to former Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah in the newly reconstituted Black Stars Management Committee.

Speaking on Citi Sports on Monday, January 20, 2025, Otchere questioned Appiah’s inclusion, suggesting that it might be a strategic move to appease Ghanaians who have long called for the former player to assume an official role.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has presented FIFA badges to 22 referees and assistant referees during a brief ceremony at the GFA Headquarters in Accra on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
