King Solomon apologise for hooliganism

The management of King Solomon Football Club has apologised for the misbehaviour and violent conduct of the club’s fans during their game against Great Olympics at Kwahu Mpraeso last Sunday.

A release signed by the President of the club,  Alhaji Nash, described the behaviour of King Solomon supporters as barbaric, absurd and irrational.

The fans, who could not accept Olympics’ 1-0 away victory over the homesters, pounced on Referee Sampson Azuma and his assistants, Ishmael Acquah and J.K. Abora, immediately after the match and brutally assaulted them. They were conveyed to the Mpraeso Hospital by Olympics’ player-cum-coach Godwin Attram for urgent attention.

While condemning the crowd violence, the management of King Solomon noted that the action was a criminal offence and must be dealt with as such.
