Brennan wins Kempinski Triathlon
Andy Brennan has won the third Kempinski Triathlon race held at the University of Ghana, Legon in Accra.
He crossed the finishing line in 1:15:.58 seconds to win the competition for the second time since the competition began in Ghana last year.
Sam Papai (1:17.31 seconds) placed second with Mark Twumofosu following with a time of 1:19.15 seconds.
Dubbed the “Kempinski Series”, the competition was held in two separate parts: triathlon featuring swimming, biking etc, and duathlon, involving racing and biking.
It was organised by the Ghana Triathlon Federation (GTF) and sponsored by the Kempinski Gold Coast City Hotel.
Over 74 athletes took part in the competition, including Ghanaian marathon runner, William Akuka.
