THE MTN Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols has become one of the most exciting events on the Christmas calendar with artistes always thrilling patrons with awesome performances while putting their spin on carols.
And this year's edition, which came off on Friday, December 20 at the Fantasy Dome in Accra, was no different as musicians Kuami Eugene, Joe Mettle, Cina Soul, Medikal, Kelvyn Boy and eShun treated the full house to wonderful renditions of carols as well as their songs.
Joe Mettle and Kuami Eugene were the standouts of this year's show; Joe Mettle put patrons in the Christmas mood with an effortless blending of carols and his songs such as Bo Noo Ni and My Everything.
Backed by his band, Joe Mettle delighted the audience his voice and songs leaving them asking for more when he left the stage.

Kuami Eugene had a great night
Kuami Eugene stagecraft has grown from strength to strength and he delivered another amazing performance on the night.
When he was announced as the next performing act, the audience was chanting his name even before he hit the stage and he didn't disappoint them.
He started with his latest hit song, Obiaato before zooming into a time of praise, singing some popular local Gospel songs which got the patrons up from their seats to dance.
Throughout his time on stage, there was no dull moment and the audience didn't want him to leave when he finished performing.
Medikal was good on stage and so was Kelvyn Boy who gave a good account of himself on the stage.
Songstresses, Cina Soul and eShun also entertained the audience who appreciated their efforts with applause.
There were Bible readings by selected individuals like is usually done.
Sound was good, technical hitches were few and patrons thoroughly enjoyed themselves at the MTN Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols which was hosted by comedian, Foster Romanus.
