Sissala East District pleads with President to appoint DCE

Some concerned citizens of the Sissala East District in the Upper West Region have pleaded with the President to appoint a qualified and competent person as chief executive for the district.
They lamented that the absence of a DCE in the district for the past one year was having serious repercussions on the development of the district.
Mr Bukari Bayorbor Nuhu, the leader of the group, made the plea at a news conference at Tumu.
He said the group would have no other choice than to embark on a peaceful demonstration if a DCE was not appointed — GNA
