The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has called on the Ghana Police Service to look into all acts of excessive force by the police during the demonstration by Let My Vote Count Alliance (LMVCA) in Accra on Wednesday.

A statement issued and signed by Mr Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, General Secretary of NPP, urged the police to look into the matter with all the seriousness that it deserves and ensure that those officers who perpetrated that act are brought to book in order to avert such occurrence in the future.
