President Mahama commissions Bui Dam

President John Mahama has inaugurated the final phase of the Bui Hydroelectric Power Project at Bui in the Brong-Ahafo Region.
The ceremony was attended by several dignitaries including former President John Agyekum Kufuor, whose government initiated the project in 2008
The three-turbine Bui dam is expected to provide Ghana with an additional 400 megawatts of electricity.
The first unit of the dam, which provides about 133 megawatts of power, was inaugurated in May.
