PPP convention for October 31
The Progressive People’s Party (PPP) will hold its 2015 National Convention on Saturday, October 31, 2015, in Takoradi in the Western Region.
The climax of the national convention will be the election of constituency, regional and national officers.
Most important, the convention will also approve the Party’s Platform for the 2016 elections.
The theme for the Convention is: “Strategise to form government in 2016”.

According to a statement signed by the party’s National Secretary, Mr Kofi Asamoah-Siaw, all constituency branches of the party have begun parliamentary primaries to select candidates for the 2016 elections, and that will end on October 30, 2015.
Modalities
The delegates to the national convention will deliberate the modalities for the election of the 2016 presidential candidate of the party which will take place in November, 2015.
