NPP will use lawful means to address electoral dispute - Kyei-Mensah Bonsu
The Minority Leader and Member of Parliament of Suame, Mr Osei Kyei-Mensah Bonsu, has stated that the New Patriotic Party will use all lawful means to ensure that the right thing is done about the election.
Mr Kyei-Mensah told party supporters that the NPP was also moving to contract independent auditors to go into the figures so far obtained to place the party in a better position to fight its case in court.
He added that the NPP had engaged two Information Technology experts to conduct investigations into the parliamentary results.
The Minority Leader, who made this known in Kumasi on Saturday, said their investigations into the manipulated figures of the elections were expected to be completed by close of Sunday and expectations were that the figure could go up.

Addressing party supporters who are members of keep fit clubs in Kumasi, the minority leader said there was every indication that at worst the presidential election would have gone into a run off.
The rally, which had the police (they claimed they were officially notified) taking cover to prevent any unwanted developments, was attended by hundreds of party supporters.
It served as a precursor to a major demonstration due for today, which would have the 2012 presidential candidate Nana Akufo-Addo in attendance.
The New Patriotic Party claims its investigations into the alleged fraud in the December 7 election have so far discovered over illegal 150,000 votes that were allegedly added to the votes of President John Dramani Mahama, leading to his being declared as winner of the poll.
The party plans to present a petition to the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II after the demonstration but it is not clear why the petition will be presented to the occupant of the Golden Stool.
Since the Electoral Commission (EC) declared the NDC candidate President Mahama winner of the presidential elections, the NPP has not gone to sleep in the national capital.
Supporters of the party have gone on public protests even though the party insists it is going to court to challenge the results.
