NDC advised against voting skirt and blouse
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Hohoe Constituency, Dr Mrs Bernice Adiku Heloo, has urged electorate of the Gbi Bla North area not to vote ‘skirt and blouse’ during the December 7 election.
According to her, skirt and blouse voting will not give the party a one touch victory, hence, party faithful must make sure they help NDC with a one touch victory.
She said the electorate must vote massively for President John Dramani Mahama and herself in the upcoming general election.
According to her, the constituency which has witnessed major developments under the Mahama-led administration would benefit from more projects if the NDC is given another term in office.
Dr Bernice Adiku Heloo who is also the Deputy Minister for Environment Science, Technology and Innovation, was speaking at a mini rally organised at Gbi Bla over the weekend.
She said the president would continue the projects he had already started in the area. “You all know the project our president is already doing and can attest to the fact that, Hohoe has seen major infrastructural projects in the Mahama-led administration, so you must support us for second term in office.”
Meanwhile, a former Municipal Chief Executive, Mr Herman Victor Kontobrey, has charged the people of Hohoe not to be perturbed by the lies of the opposition parties, but rather focus on educating other voters to join the party.
“The NDC party has concern for everyone. President Mahama has you in mind. You must still be loyal to us as you have been and help us win this election,” he added.
The mini rally attracted executives of the three towns, NDC members and other party sympathisers.
