NPP 2024 Election Review Committee dispels rumours of draft report - Meets with party’s Council of Elders
The New Patriotic Party's (NPP) 2024 Election Review Committee has refuted claims of a draft report on the ongoing election review process, stating that no such document exists.
The committee said it was still in the process of gathering insights and recommendations from party members and stakeholders through consultations.
"We urge all party members not to be misguided by the notion that someone's opinion has already been formed," a statement signed and issued by the Secretary to the committee, William Yamoah, said.
"When our report is complete, it will be evident that we have captured and presented all the concerns of our people to the National Council," it said.

The statement followed a report making rounds on the social media said to be coming from the committee.
Council of Elders
In a related development the committee, chaired by former Speaker of Parliament, Prof. Mike Oquaye, on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 met with the National Council of Elders of the party.
The council formally presented their insights, observations, and perspectives on the party’s performance in the recently concluded elections to the committee.
The document submitted by the National Council of elders outlined key recommendations and strategic proposals aimed at strengthening party organisation and improving future electoral outcomes.
In attendance were Chairman of the National Council of Elders; Hackman Owusu-Agyemang, Prof. Christopher Ameyaw-Akumfi; Dr Abease; and Dr. Glover-Quartey.
The committee said it remained committed to engaging all relevant stakeholders as part of its comprehensive review process.
Mandate
The committee was established to conduct a comprehensive post-election review and provide recommendations to guide the party's future strategies.
The committee's report will serve as a foundation for the NPP's efforts to reflect, rebuild, and prepare for the next general elections.
It encouraged party members and stakeholders to contribute to the review process by contacting the committee via phone at +233540466684 or email at nppelectionreviewcommittee@gmail.com.
