Ghana Girl Guides commends Vice-President

The Ghana Girl Guides Association, a voluntary movement dedicated to girls and young women, has expressed its confidence in Vice-President Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang's ability to usher in transformative progress and create greater opportunities for women and girls in the country. 

In a congratulatory message, the association lauded Prof. Opoku-Agyemang's leadership, saying it aligns with the values they uphold, particularly in education, equity and inclusion.

The association commended Prof. Opoku-Agyemang's remarkable accomplishment, citing her dedication, resilience and outstanding leadership.

They said her achievement would serve as a beacon of hope and inspiration for women and girls across the country and beyond.

“This monumental milestone serves as a beacon of hope and inspiration for women and girls across Ghana and beyond, proving that through determination and hard work, no dream is beyond reach,” the association said.

The association also extended its congratulations to female Ministers of State, Chief Executive Officers and elected Members of Parliament.

They acknowledged these women's leadership and dedication to national development, which they said would inspire countless girls and young women across the country.

“As champions of change, you exemplify the values of courage, resilience and service; these principles we instil in every Girl Guide,” it said.
