Council of State member urges unity of purpose
A member of the Council of State, Nana Asiama Poku-Afrifa, has said unity of purpose is the only panacea to get the country out of its economic woes.
He said any society which was plagued by divisive tendencies could not make any meaningful progress.
He, therefore, urged all Ghanaians to forgive one another and work in unity to develop the country along the path of love, peace and forbearance.
Nana Poku-Afrifa stated this in his Christmas message. He noted that, the axiom, "unity" is strength" was not a mere platitude nor was it meaningless to be told that united we stand, divided we fall".
