Amansie Central assembly endorses DCE
The Amansie Central District Assembly has endorsed Mr Emmanuel Dede Appiah as the Chief Executive of the district.
All the 38 assembly members, including the 26 elected members, voted for Mr Dede Appiah last Monday after his nomination by President John Dramani Mahama.
The Chief of Jacobu, Nana Fosu Kwadwo Aburi, the Member of Parliament for Amansie Central, Mr Emmanuel Kwasi Gyamfi, the Adansi North District Chief Executive, Alhaji Lateef and the Presiding Member of Amansie Central, Mr Benedict Boadi were among the dignitaries who graced the occasion.
Moments after his endorsement, Mr Dede Appiah pledged in his address to collaborate with members of the assembly to initiate development projects that would impact meaningfully on the lives of the people in the district.
He also pledged to adopt an open door policy intended to unite stakeholders of the district irrespective of party affiliations.
This, he said, would enable them to contribute to the development initiatives of the district assembly to make life comfortable for all.
He expressed his profound gratitude to members of the assembly for the confidence reposed in him.
The newly endorsed DCE also commended the National Democratic Congress party executive members, chiefs and stakeholders for the various roles they all played in endorsing his nomination.
