The Police in Donkorkrom have charged two teachers with using the payslips of five other teachers to collect items on hire purchase without the knowledge of the owners of the payslips. The suspects are: Mathew Amegadzi, the head teacher of Kwaekese Roman Catholic Primary School, near Donkorkrom, and Nelson Ebenezer Adjei, a teacher of Oframse Municipal Assembly Primary School, near Nkawkaw.
The Donkorkrom District Police Commander, Superintendent of Police, Mr Kwadwo Adu Baadu, disclosed this to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Donkorkrom in the Afram Plains.
Victims
He listed the victims as: Sanda Moro, Akafia Benedict, Aduma Isaac, Agbevim Simon and Dagmee Ntomitil; all teachers of the Roman Catholic Primary School at Kwaekese.

He, therefore, discussed the issue with other members of staff of the school, who also confirmed similar deductions from their salaries.
Ntomitil, therefore, reported the matter to the Donkorkrom Police, whose investigations revealed that Amegadzi and his accomplice printed and scanned the payslips of their colleagues and used them to collect items on credit from A.J. Joad, a consumer credit company in Accra.
The company, therefore, deducted money from the salaries of the victims to defray the cost of the items the two teachers had collected. — GNA
