tiGO supports Okyehene's 15th anniversary
The management of mobile network operator tiGO has called on the Okyehene, Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panyin II, ahead of the climax of his 15th anniversary celebrations.
The company used the opportunity to present a cheque for GH¢20,000 to the Okyenhene to help with planning of activities for the anniversary celebrations.
The Chief Executive Officer of tiGO Ghana Limited, Madam Roshi Motman, commended the Okyehene for his achievements in environmental protection, improvements in education and support for the development and well-being of children in his traditional area and Ghana at large.
She said tiGO remained committed to promoting Ghana’s rich culture and traditions and would, therefore, continue to support sound initiatives and projects that unite communities.

She mentioned ‘tiGO Fest’ as one such programmes which celebrates Ghana’s rich cultural diversity.
tiGO has been operating in the country for the past 22 years, and its CEO said the company would continue to invest for the long-term.
She recounted investments, employment creation, human resource development and sustainable development in the areas of community empowerment as some of the opportunities created by tiGO within the years that it had operated in the country.
The Okyehene commended tiGO for its contributions to the country’s development by way of its various social investment initiatives.
He urged corporate Ghana and resourceful individuals to help protect and ensure the well-being of children since they were the face of the country’s future.
