SOS youth get soft skills training
A non-governmental organisation (NGO), Learning Organisation, has organised a soft skills training programme for the youth of the SOS Children’s Villages.
The training included presentation skills, personal effectiveness skills, change agenda skills, personal branding and effective CV writing skills.
The main objective of the training was to equip the youth with essential skills to help boost their self-confidence in the world of work.
The programme formed part of the organisation’s corporate social responsibility and partnership agreement with the SOS Children’s Villages Ghana.
The training afforded the participants the opportunity to engage in discussions and share experiences.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Learning Organisation, Mr Isaac Sackey, said the training would help to build the self confidence of the beneficiaries to take up tasks and challenges they might encounter as “they enter the job market.”
The SOS Children’s Villages are in partnership with Learning Organisation to equip the youth of the village with some essential soft skills needed in the world of work.
The agreement forms part SOS’ strategic initiative, to empower young people.
