Samuel Nuamah's burial set for September 17
The late Ghanaian Times presidential correspondent Samuel Nuamah who died in a fatal accident will be buried on September 17, 2015.
Samuel Nuamah, a member of the Presidential Press Corps lost his life following an accident involving the media bus while returning from an assignment in Ho in the Volta Region.
The journalists were returning to Accra after covering the President who delivered a speech at the Evangelical Presbyterian (EP) Church convention when the accident occurred.
The accident occurred around Dawhwenya in the Greater Accra Region.
Brother of the deceased Emmanuel Asamoah who confirmed this to Citi News said : “the place of the ceremony is at the state house, and then we will bury him at the Osu cemetery.”
Many have since Nuamah’s death blamed the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) and other key stakeholders in the media industry for the incident.
