President dissolves NACOB board

President John Dramani Mahama has dissolved the governing board of the Narcotics Control Board (NACOB).
A terse statement from the Chief of Staff, Mr Prosper Bani, Saturday morning said further details will follow soon.
It is not known whether the decision was linked to the busting of a Ghanaian woman, Nayele Ametefeh, at the Heathrow Airport for cocaine trafficking.
NACOB had claimed they collaborated with the British Intelligence for the arrest, but this has been disputed by the British authorities.
