Mr Mustapha Abdul Hamid has been appointed the Acting Executive Director of the Danquah Institute (DI), an Accra-based policy and governance think tank.
DI made this known Wednesday on the organisation’s website.
Mr Hamid, a lecturer at the University of Cape Coast (UCC), replaces Mr Gabby Otchere-Darko, who is leaving the country to undertake research work abroad.
On his Facebook page Tuesday, Mr Otchere-Darko described his successor as an “excellent intellectual mind" and "a dauntless patriot”.
