Presenting the facts of the case to the court, the Prosecutor, Sergeant Lois Konadu, said on October 23, 2016 at 7:00 p.m., the victim went to Abdallah’s sister’s house to collect a school uniform and textbooks from her.
The prosecutor said when the victim got there, Abdallah’s sister was in a hurry to go out so she asked Abdallah to give the textbooks to the victim and left.
She said Abdallah gave primary school textbooks to the victim, instead of JHS books.
The prosecutor said when the victim prompted him, Abdallah then returned the books to his room and asked the victim to come and take the ones she wanted.
Prosecutor Lois told the court that immediately the victim entered the room, Abdallah pushed her unto his bed and forcibly slept with her.
After the act, the victim run from the room towards her house, but met her teacher on the way and narrated her ordeal to him.
Sergeant Lois said the teacher proceeded to tell her grandmother, who reported the incident to the Ofankor Police.
The prosecutor said a police medical form was issued to the victim to go to the hospital for treatment.
Abdallah was subsequently arrested and he admitted having consensual sexual intercourse with the victim in his caution statement.
