Kosmos Energy builds multi-purpose ICT Education Center at New Nzulezu
Information technology education in Western Nzema schools has received a major boost after nine junior high schools at New Nzulezu cluster of schools, and schools in other eighteen neighbouring communities were handed a fully equipped ICT resource Centre by Kosmos Energy.
The center, which is equipped with a lecture hall, 20 new computers, an office, a server, a multi-purpose printer, and a multi-media projector, is expected to serve more than 1,500 pupils and students from the communities with support from IT professionals.
The center was in fulfillment of a promise made to the community by Kosmos Energy during Kundum Festival of celebration of chiefs and people of Western Nzema Traditional Council to support ICT education in the area.
A head teacher at the New Nzulezu Cluster of Schools, Mr Joseph Efframi said the centre would help transform ICT education in the area.
