Ghanaian arrested with cocaine in Kenya

The yet to be identified man aged 34 was enroute to Benin from Sao Paulo on Saturday night when he was detained by officials from the Anti-Narcotics Unit.

He was put in an observation room and has since then emitted at least 48 pellets he had inserted into his rectum. Police said they are yet to know the drugs but they suspect it to be cocaine.

“He is still under observation and we are waiting for results from the Government Chemist to know the nature of the drugs he had,” said airport CID boss Joseph Ngisa.
