Evangelist Forson awarded doctorate in Leadership
The Chief Executive Officer of Media Brain Consult, Evangelist Dr Albert Forson, has urged leaders in the country to be cautious and judicious in the management of the country’s resources.
Dr Forson reiterated that leaders were appointed to give hope to the citizenry and make their lives better with the available resources.
Dr Forson made the appeal at a ceremony organised at the House of Hope Assemblies of God Church in Accra at which an honorary doctorate degree in Leadership and Excellence was conferred on him by the Global Centre for Transformational Leadership, an affiliate of the Pan-African Clergy Council and Bible Seminary.
Evangelist Forson, who is also the President and Executive Director of the Foundation for Endtime Repentance and the Positive Mindset International, admonished men of God not to skew the word of God for their personal aggrandisement by giving their followers a false hope.
According to the Chairman of the Global Centre for Transformational Leadership, Most Rev. Dr Godwin Davids, Evangelist Forson’s humanitarian services; contribution to the development of churches, his ministry and many other institutions brought hope to the deprived.
Rev. Dr Davids said Evangelist Forson’s adoption of the 12 Steps Rehabilitation Centre at the Ankaful Psychiatric Hospital, frequent donations to hospitals, prisons, socially disadvantaged groups, his support for the construction of church buildings and providing resources for rural evangelism, as well as his social intervention programmes, were a feat that deserved national honour.
