DVLA expands nationwide offices from 33 to 63 in two years

The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority has expanded its operations with about 30 new offices within two years, bringing its total nationwide presence to 63 offices.

The Chief Executive Officer, Julius Neequaye Kotey, made this known at a press briefing, saying that prior to the assumption of office, the Authority had about 33 offices nationwide.

These offices, he said, comprised wholly owned DVLA offices and ultra centres opened with the participation of the private sector. He explained that of the offices opened under two years, 12 belong to the DVLA while 18 are ultra centres.

Mr Kotey stressed that other centres were being constructed with the aim of continuing to expand the Authority's services to bring them closer to the public.
