DKM liquidation: Customers receive monies today
Hundreds of anxious customers of the liquidated DKM Microfinance Company Monday converged in front of the Ghana Commercial Bank in Sunyani as the official liquidator begins payments of their deposits.
A number of canopies were erected in front of the bank to enable officials of the liquidator to verify the documents of the customers before they are allowed to enter the banking hall to receive their monies.
A representative of the Official Liquidator, Ms Lucy Eshum told Graphic Online that the customers have been grouped and notified on which day they were to collect their deposits.
She explained that 350 customers were expected to be paid today while in the subsequent days 500 customers would be paid.

About 20 armed policemen have been positioned at vantage points in front of the bank to protect both officials and the customers.
Even though anxiety could be seen on the faces of the customers, they looked calm as they waited for their turn.
