Dalex rewards its public worker loan clients with free cash
Dalex Finance and Leasing Company Limited (DALEX), a wholly Ghanaian non-bank financial institution, has launched this year’s ‘Cash Dash’ promotion during which it would offer free money to its Public Sector Loan clients.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Dalex Finance, Mr Ken Thompson, announced at the launch of the promotion that 2014 was a banner year for the company’s business so the ‘Cash Dash’ promotion was to reward Dalex customers for the tremendous growth it achieved last year.
He added that Dalex Finance was able to achieve this growth because the company continuously strove to be innovative in order to stay ahead in the finance business.
Business booms
During the period, he said, over 21,000 Public Sector Loans clients were served and salary loan disbursement grew by 65 per cent.
“The Dalex Paddy sales workforce also doubled from 750 to over 1500 agents nationwide and 38 sales offices were also established in rural and underserved communities,” Mr Thompson added.
The Director of Business Operations of the company, Mr Joe Jackson, said the ‘Cash Dash’ promotion, which is offering cash rewards from GH¢50 to GH¢500, would run from July 2015 to September 2015.
“Every public sector loan client will be rewarded within the period of the promotion,” Mr Jackson stated.
Mr Jackson elaborated that Dalex Finance believed that anybody who took a loan had a need and so the company decided to support its loan clients with free money.
According to him, the company ensures ethical sales practices in its salary loans sector.
For instance, Dalex Finance has a partnership with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) Business Edge Programme which ensures that the Dalex Paddy sales force continues to follow best practices, advising clients on the full cost of their loans and making sure that they only borrow what they can afford.
