Beware! Dery will cite you for contempt if you show Anas video

Mr Justice Paul Uuter Dery, one of the judges spotted in the Anas video allegedly taking bribes, has once again gone to court in an attempt to clear his ‘good’ name.

The latest target in his multiplicity of court actions is the Managing Director of Global Cinemas at Weija, near Accra, Mr Ernest Oppong, who the embattled judge has sued for contempt.

The latest development brings to 10 the number of actions he has initiated.

The list

The other nine are against Anas Aremeyaw Anas, Tiger Eye PI, the Chief Justice, the Attorney-General and the New Crusading Guide newspaper.

The rest are: The Accra International Conference Centre, the Media Foundation For West Africa, United Television (UTV) and Starr FM.

The list may be far from over.
