AIDS Commission hosts conference on HIV

The Ghana AIDS Commission in collaboration with its partners is hosting a National HIV and AIDS Conference (NHARCON) on the theme: “Utilising strategic information for an effective national response”, from 10th-13th September, 2013.

The conference will create a platform for HIV and AIDS stakeholders to share information and experiences, discuss results of key research endeavours as well as examine their implications for improving the quality of the national response to the epidemic.

NHARCON 2013 is the third in the series of HIV and AIDS research conferences convened by the Ghana AIDS Commission; following the 2004 and 2008 conferences.

Highlights of the conference include plenary sessions, abstract presentations, symposia, skills building workshops and poster exhibitions. Late registration is open on www.ghanaids.gov.gh/conference and at College of Physicians and Surgeons, the conference venue.
