Over 200 structures have been gutted by fire in Abuja, a slum in the Central Business District of Accra, GraphicOnline understands.
Accra-based Citi FM, which visited the scene of the fire, reported that personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service have brought the fire under control.
The cause of the fire is not immediately known, but residents suspect that it was triggered by a candle which was lit in one of the wooden structures in the area.
