The initiative aims to strengthen the education sector by enhancing systemic capacity, improving policy planning and fostering sustainable educational reforms.

The statement said the SCG would support, among others, strengthening boys’ and girls’ education programming at national and decentralised levels, reviewing and updating the Education Sector Medium-Term Development Plan to align with national priorities.

It stated that other supports would include “enhancing national capacity for crisis-sensitive and resilient education sector planning to address emerging challenges, supporting the development of Education Sector Performance Reports to improve accountability and monitoring, as well as building district-level capacity for data collection and analysis to enhance evidence,” the statement said.
