
Prudential Bank donates GH¢83,000 to KsTU to enhance teaching, learning
Prudential Bank has donated GHS 83,200.00 to the Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) for the procurement and installation of eight projectors at the university’s lecture theatres.
The donation was in response to a call for assistance by the KsTU to facilitate and enhance effective teaching and learning at the university.
Presenting the cheque to the university, the Area Manager for the Northern Sector of the bank, Jalaludeen Emran Adam, said the donation was in line with the bank’s commitment to promote education through enhanced academic excellence and technological advancement.
“A key pillar in our Corporate Social Responsibility drive is to promote quality education in Ghana in fulfilment of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) specifically SDG 4.

We believe the procurement and installation of these equipment will go a long way to facilitate effective teaching and learning on campus,” he said.
Receiving the cheque on behalf of the university, the Registrar, Ebenezer Kofi Boakye, lauded the bank for the kind gesture, indicating that it would go a long way to significantly improve the quality of teaching and learning in the university.
“We are most grateful for this show of support from your bank.
It has always been part of our plans to equip our lecture theatres with such state-of-the-art equipment.
So, we are realising this dream with this donation.”
“This will really equip our lecture theatres and immensely facilitate academic work on our campus,” he said.
The Area Manager of PBL was accompanied for the presentation by Boakye Osei-Asibe, Head, Northern Zone Commercial Centre; Naomi Adjei-Twum, Snr Relationship Manager, Northern Zone Commercial Centre; Samuel Afranie, Branch Manager, Afful Nkwanta Branch in Kumasi; and Ewurama Frimpomaa Danso, Commercial Relationship Officer, Afful Nkwanta Branch.
In addition to the registrar of the university, others present were the Director of Finance, Isaac Owusu-Ansah; the Director of Internal Audit, Asare-Baffour Frimpong; and Ms Joyce Adu, the VC’s secretary.
