Foundation pays final year candidate’s fees

Emmnarg Groupe Foundation, a non-governmental organisation, has supported a final-year student of Haavad Senior High School, Master Richard Cyrus Adesah, with GH¢1,445 to enable him to meet his educational financial obligations.

Support

Presenting the cash, the Executive Director of the organisation, Mr Emmanuel Nargeh, noted that meeting the needs of the less privileged in society was the core mandate of the group.

He mentioned that in June last year, the foundation supported final year students of five basic schools at the Agomeda D/A Basic School and Manya Jorpanya D/A Basic School with mathematical sets for the BECE.

Mr Nargeh stated that the motivation was to put smiles on the faces of the less privileged and to meet their needs.

He said the foundation was ready to support in the education, health and social sectors because it resonated with its motto: “Bringing changes to all lives.”

Widows

During the Christmas festive season, the foundation donated bags of rice, cooking oil, Mackerel, a set of assorted drinks and cash to 22 widows within the Shai Osudoku Traditional Area.

Mr Nargeh said he was worried that although those widows had children, they had been left to the mercy and benevolence of society.

Gratitude

The Gyaase of Numerse, Dodowa, Gyaase Ofosu Oblim, thanked the foundation for always stepping in to provide support when the need arose.

The District Minister of the Presbyterian Church, Dodowa, Rev. Samuel Buenor Laweteh, expressed his gratitude to the group and urged the widows to remember the foundation in their prayers at all times.

Ms Sarah Dede Otoo, one of the widows, said they had no hope of celebrating the Christmas but they were surprised when they were presented with some items by the group in Dodowa.
