V.C.R.A.C. Crabbe to read at Goethe-Institut
Retired Supreme Court judge, Justice Prof. Vincent Cyril Richard Arthur Charles Crabbe, known to many simply as V.C.R.A.C., will on Wednesday, August 30, read excerpts from “Unfinished Journey - Biography of V.C.R.A.C. Crabbe’ at the Goethe-Institut in Accra.
He will read together with author, Kwesi Amoak. The book traces the life and works of the eminent Ghanaian jurist who has made tremendous contributions to law, academia and civil society in Ghana.
Justice Crabbe will also be available to answer questions from members of the audience.
The programme is being presented by the Writers Project of Ghana (WPG) in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut. WPG is an international literary organisation based in Ghana and the United States that promotes literary culture in Africa and around the world.
Justice Crabbe was once the Director of the Commonwealth Secretariat Scheme for Legislative Drafting for the West African, Southern African and the Caribbean Regions and a Senior Instructor at the International Law Development Centre in Rome, Italy.
He has been a Professor of Legislative Drafting at the Cave Hill Campus of the University of West Indies Barbados and a Senior Instructor at the International Law Development Centre in Rome (Italy).
A documentation specialist, ghostwriter and journalist with expertise in Creative Education, Kwesi Amoak is also the author of several books including “The Creative One: Life and Works of Jake Otanka Obetsebi Lamptey” and “Quest for Excellence: Biographies of fifteen Alumni of Legon.”
He has ghostwritten more than 10 books for clients in Ghana, Liberia, Togo, Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
