Can you complete SHS without punishments?
Wherever people gather, there are rules and regulations. These are spelt out to all members. This is so in school because when we enter SHS we are expected to obey all rules.
Do not forget that the rules are not meant to make us suffer, but to shape our lives for the future.
One rule that is common in most schools is punctuality. Going to school on time is meant to make students time cautious— that is to go to bed at the right time, wake up early and prepare for school.
As students, we are constantly advised to avoid distractions and people who can influence us to get into trouble. This time, social networking such as facebook, twitter, whatsApp etc have been so infectious that it is wise for all to know the limits and abide by rules at school which forbid us from using cell phones once in school.

It, therefore, stands to reason that if we are able to live without our phones for up to three months while we are at school, we should be able to manage our time and not spend hours chatting online.
One other big issue is our preoccupation with boyfriend/girlfriend relationships. Very often this starts with making bad friends who convince other students that it is cool to break school rules and also engage in matters of the heart. But all these temptations can land many students in big trouble.
I think the cool thing to do is rather to respect superiors who include school heads, teachers as well seniors at school. After all obeying your teacher’s instructions and other school rules will make you have your peace of mind to enjoy high school and also study.
It is very possible to go through school without breaking school rules and, therefore, avoid punishments. This surely enables you to concentrate on your books and excel.
