Ace School pupils embark on covid-19 sensitisation exercise
Pupils of the Ace School in Afienya East in the Ningo Prampram District of the Greater Accra Region have embarked on a COVID-19 sensitisation exercise.
Pupils of the school went on a procession with their teachers through the town to educate the inhabitants on the need to observe all the COVID-19 safety protocols.
The health walk formed part of the activities to mark the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the school.
Speaking to the Junior Graphic, the Executive Director of the school, Ms Selorm Akuyo Amable said the health walk was to sensitise society to the dangers of the COVID-19 pandemic and the need to adhere to all the protocols in other to prevent the spread of the virus.
As part of the exercise, the pupils distributed face masks to those who were not wearing one. They also spelt out some of the school's achievements in the last 10 years which included excelling in the 2020 BECE and placing second in the just-ended National Core
Subjects Quiz.
The health walk was climaxed at the school premises with a lot of fun activities.
