Israeli embassies call-off worldwide strike
Israeli diplomats have called-off their strike in Ghana and 100 other countries after suspending consular services for 24 hours over expense stipends paid to envoys.
An announcement by the Embassy of Israel in Accra on Thursday, October 31 said all diplomatic and consular services are fully active and the embassy is working in full capacity.
The dispute between the worker's committees in the Foreign and Security Ministries and the Israeli Ministry of Finance was about paying taxes on overseas stipends.
