Former Accra Hearts of Oak striker Cosmos Dauda has completed a move to Jordanian side Al-Faisaly after initial denials.
The 24-year-old attacker, who was released by the Phobians about a month ago, penned a one-year deal with the Jordanian club.
After concluding the deal, Cosmos broke the good news on Twitter Tuesday, July 10. “Glory to God Almighty I officially singed for Al-Faisaly SC of Jordan…Now a Blue Soldier. New Home New Challenge. Let’s do it …I appreciate all who stood by me,” he player tweeted.
Details of the contract was not made available but reports indicate that the Ghanaian could be given a contract extension based on his performance at the end of his current deal.
When new first broke about Dauda’s links with Al-Faisaly, the player denied the media report and described it as false.
Cosmos was the top scorer for Hearts three seasons ago when the Phobians were handled by Japanese trainer, Kenichi Yatsuhashi, when he finished the league campaign with 14 goals.
