Black Stars midfielder, Afriyie Acquah, has completed a move from Torino to Serie A side, Empoli.
Acquah had been linked with a move to West Bromwich Albion of England, but the 26-year-old snubbed the Championship side to sign a season-long loan deal with the newly-promoted Serie A club.
The former Bechem United player underwent a successful medical at Empoli before signing the contract.
Empoli announced the capture of the Torino midfielder on its Twitter page.
"Empoli FC is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement with the @ TorinoFC_1906 for the final purchase of the rights to the sporting activities of @ AcquahAfriyie20," the club tweeted.
The player's management company ArthurLegacy, in a tweet on Friday, confirmed the midfielder had signed to join Empoli -- his sixth Italian club since signing for Palermo in 2011 and later played for Parma, Sampdoria and Torino.
''It's official: We're happy to announce that @AcquahAfriyie20 has signed a season-long loan deal at @EmpoliCalcio subject to medicals later today. #TransferNews #Acquah #Torino #SerieA.''

Torino are reported to have benefited more than €1,000,000 from the loan fee as compensation for the player who join the Turin side in 2015 has one year on hiss contract remaining.
